Building an AI-powered trading discipline platform for professional and retail traders
PROJECT SNAPSHOT
TradeDojo is designed to help traders build winning habits by combining live trade capture, voice narration, and AI-driven analytics. The platform offers a unified workflow for documenting trades, receiving actionable feedback, and building self-awareness, all in one secure environment. Our goal is to deliver an intelligent system that helps traders improve discipline, reduce costly errors, and sustain peak performance.
THE CHALLENGE
Traders often struggle to maintain consistency and accountability, especially across fast-moving markets and multiple accounts. Manual journals are tedious, disconnected from live trading, and rarely used for real improvement. TradeDojo’s founders came to Converge Labs seeking a platform that could automate trade capture, reduce friction in journaling, and generate meaningful insights from the chaos of trading data. The team wanted a solution that was both powerful and genuinely easy to use, capable of scaling to professional and retail users alike.
THE PARTNERSHIP
Our collaboration began with hands-on discovery sessions and product mapping workshops to capture both professional and retail trader needs. We co-designed user journeys that simplified documentation while surfacing the moments that matter most in post-trade reflection. Working closely with the founder, we are prioritising features that drive immediate value, including live voice capture, integrated OCR for order windows, and an alert system for rule breaches. Regular feedback loops keeps the project aligned with real trading workflows and evolving partner feedback.
THE BUILD
TradeDojo’s build is focusing on rapid prototyping and continuous validation. Key components include a desktop application for live trade journaling, OCR-powered trade capture, and a suite of analytics dashboards to surface behavioural patterns and performance metrics. AI-powered prompts and notifications guide users to better habits in real time. Integration with broker APIs and competitor journal importers have been scoped to expand access and data portability. Our biggest technical challenge has been ensuring low-latency data capture and seamless UI even with complex analytics running in the background.
TradeDojo remains in active development with the first release targeted for later this year. The core team is focused on delivering a stable, user-friendly product and preparing for future user onboarding. Progress and updates will be shared on the TradeDojo site as they become available.
